I can't really argue with the top 9 (outside of Mejia, which you explained). I think the grouping of Evans Cecchini and Plawecki together is a good call - time will tell which ones become regulars and which are solid backups. I agree that Evans is under appreciated, but I also think you are a little over-negative when you write about Cecchini (though I can't argue with the actual ranking). He doesn't do anything too sexy, but scouts really love the pick. #105 is actually really good for a 19 yr-old. He'll pretty much follow Evans step by step, but we'll have to see if Evans can remain at Short.
As for the top 10, I agree that you can't quite put Ynoa in there yet, but I might bump A-Rod up there. And, I know you tried to slip Akeel in there, but I think it's abou thet time that he has to show some ability to throw strikes. Either that, or go to Ricky Vaughn's optometrist.

Vaughn was an oversight. Lagares is so meh it's like the word was invented for him. Lutz is ALWAYS hurt.

Also, where is the love for Lutz and Lagares? Also, I think Havens puts it together this year.

Yeah, pretty stoked about the influx of talent. 2 questions:
1) No love for Cory Vaughn?
2) Why the dislike for Plawecki? Guy doesn't strike out, plays good defensively, smart kid, and actually started to show a little pop last year.

This year, it will be absolutely vital for one of the OF prospects: (Duda, Kirk, DD, JV, Puello, Vaughn) to do SOMETHING to prove they belong in the majors. This is the only glaring hole left on the team and in the system, and unfortunately, power hitting OFers are at a premium league-wide right now.

Well, every once in a while, some video of a top prospect gets posted on one of a variety of websites. I know I've seen some on Wheeler and Flores on random sites. Maybe see if you can get some kinds of scouting archives and see how their swings/pitches develop over time. May or may not be less tedious, but there are a number of reports when players are drafted, then there are a couple at the end of the year here and there, there isn't a whole lot of follow up on how the prospects are doing at improving in the specific areas mentioned at the beginning of the season (level swing, identify breaking pitches). Just an idea, but providing updates one player at a time throughout the year.

Hi Tejesh,
No question that the site has not been the same the last year - year and a half. Maybe you should re-format so it isn't as much of a chore. You already give daily updates on the top prospects for each team. Why not instead go into more depth on a select few at a time (one or two). That way you don't have to go through all the stats every day, and you can focus, instead, on the stories that really matter.
I check your site every day, so I would miss not having it. I'd just like to find more stuff worth spending a few minutes to read and digest.

Best regards,
Marc
