AAA International League: Las Vegas 1/5/1 vs Sacremento 2/11/0

Collin McHugh had a third start solid outing to open his season, but again, it’s OK guys, cause we have Aaron Cackles pitching for the big club. We don’t need any of McHugh’s 0.50 era, or his 4/15 BB/K in 18 innings. No sir, we do not require good pitching out of the back of the major league rotation, because we have the worthless pile of garbage known as Aaron Gigglesworth.

McHugh went 5.2 innings, surrendering 7 hits and an UER, while walking and striking out 3. Juan Lagares had a multi hit game.

A South Atlantic League: Savannah 8/12/3 @ Greensboro 9/11/3

This was a back and forth game, both teams couldn’t hold a lead, and the only reason Greensboro won was that they had last ups. On the plus side, Brandon Nimmo had a second straight 3 for 5 game, he’s hitting .447 on the season now (that’s good). Jayce Boyd and Jeff Glenn also had multi hit games.
