Chris Flexen had the sort of BABIPy fluky start that happens every now and then, he gave up tons of hits, walked too many, didn’t strike out nearly enough, and yet gave up just 3 runs (2 earned) over 5 innings to pick up a win. Jeff McNeil, LJ Mazzilli, Jared King and Dom Smith had multi hit games as the Gnats cruised to the victory on the back of 13 hits, and 9 walks, despite going just 4 for 19 (.211) with RISP and leaving 13 on base.
