A+ Florida State League: St. Lucie 1/5/1 @ Palm Beach 3/8/0

Gabriel Ynoa’s rough start to 2014 continued tonight in the first 4 innings (7 hits and 3 runs), but his final 2 innings offered some hope, as he fired 2 zeroes and struck out 3. Ynoa’s been a mess so far, having given up 28 hits and 6 walks in 20 innings, leading to a .333 BAVG and an ugly 5.40 era. But, it’s early, and he doesn’t turn 21 until late May, so don’t push the panic button yet.
