AAA International League: Las Vegas 10/9/1 @ Reno 2/8/1

Zack Wheeler had his first truly outstanding outing of 2013, pitching into the 7th while allowing just a run on 5 hits with one walk and 8 strikeouts. It was an outing fitting someone who has future ace expectations. He threw 108 pitches, 65 of them for strikes, and generated 6 groundouts. All in all, a very successful outing for Wheeler, who, if you remember, missed all of spring training basically.
