Champ Stuart, who just a few days ago was rocking a dismally depressing .132/.214/.132/.346 line, is suddenly OPSing .750, on the strength of a 10 for 22 stretch with 2 doubles, a triple and 2 homers, with 4 walks and 6 strikeouts in that span. Luis Guillorme continued his very strong April with 4 more hits and a walk, he ends his month hitting .342 with a .419 OBP.

Jhoan Urena enjoyed his finest offensive month of the last three seasons, and that continued on the month’s final day, as he picked up three singles, a walk, and his fifth steal, ending the month at a robust .350/.464/.488/.951 with more walks (17) than strikeouts (16), and 7 extra base hits in 80 at bats, along with 5 steals in 6 tries. The big test for the 22 year old will come when he gets promoted to AA. Which should be sooner rather than later as he’s approaching 700 PAs in high A at this point.
