Recently optioned Jeurys Familia worked around 2 hits in the 9th to pick up the save. Greg Peavey fired 2 more scoreless innings in relief. Alonzo Harris and Darrell Ceciliani combined for 5 hits, 3 runs, a double, homer and 2 RBI to lead the Mets to an easy 7-2 romp over the Seawolves tonight. Harris, 23 years old, is OPSing a sweet 1.028 (.364/.391/.636) over his first 5 games. Ceciliani is hitting to an .842 OPS, (.316/.316/.526). Eric Goeddel had a good outing in his season debut, giving up 2 runs over 6 innings, on 8 hits with 5 strikeouts. Jack Leathersich struck out 2 in his 2 innings of work, and Jeff Walters faltered in the 9th, but emerged unscathed.
