A South Atlantic League: Columbia 7/9/2 vs Lakewood 10/11/0

Harol Gonzalez got wrecked again, giving up 6 runs (4 earned) on 7 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings to take his 2nd loss, but actually lower his ERA to 7.27 (that’s not good). Andres Gimenez doubled and drove home a pair, he’s hitting .321 thru his first 7 games (28 ABs) in Columbia, with a .924 OPS and .424 OBP. In a totally unfair, ridiculous, stupid comparison, Amed Rosario hit .133/.161/.300/.461 thru 30 ABs in his cameo in the SAL as an 18 year old in 2014. 2016 4th rounder Michael Paez doubled twice and drove in one, he’s hitting .260 with an .833 OPS this season.

2. ss Andres Gimenez 2 for 5, 2b (2), 2 RBI (5), K, .321
3. 2b Michael Paez 2 for 5, run, 2 2b (9), RBI (21), .260
