AAA Pacific Coast League: Las Vegas OFF

AA Eastern League: Binghamton 6/8/0 @ Portland 5/7/2

Luis Guillorme continues to exceed expectations with the bat, stroking 3 more hits (including a double) and walking today, reaching base in all four of his official PAs (he also had a sac fly to drive in a run). Guillorme, 22, is considered to be the best defensive shortstop in the Mets organization (yeah, better than Rosario), the question was always how much (if any) he’d hit. Well… so far, over 28 games in Binghamton, he’s doing enough with a .339/.407/.394/.801 line. Obviously the OBP being higher than the SLG isn’t a good sign, but he’s not striking out and walking at a 10% clip, which all plays combined with his glove. So far, he’s passing the AA test, but there’s still 100 some odd games to go.

Tomas Nido singled twice to raise his average to .236.

A+ Florida State League: St. Lucie 7/8/3 vs Lakeland 5/9/0

Lucas Duda three-true-outcomesed his way through the game as the DH today, and Jhoan Urena singled and walked twice, raising his OPS to .975, though with just 2 homers in 115 ABs. He should be #PROMOATED. Wuilmer Becerra, on the other hand, struck out three times and has a .736 OPS. He should not be #PROMOATED.
