The Mets offense exploded for 12 hits and 7 walks, en route to an 11-7 victory ‘behind’ Greg Peavey, who had another pretty bad outing (3 runs on 8 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings). Matt den Dekker and Juan Lagares had multi hit games. Reese Havens snapped a 2 for infinity slump with a single in the 8th.

A South Atlantic League: Savannah 5/7/0, Augusta 3/3/1

Rafael Montero had a fantastic start today, giving up just a hit and 2 walks in 6 innings for his 3rd win. He now sports a nifty 6/34 BB/K in 44.1 innings this season. Methinks it’s time for a promotion to St. Lucie, you can easily bump one of the non prospects (Angel Cuan, Yohan Almonte). Offensively, Brian Harrison had another multi hit game, he’s been RAGING hot this month, hitting .362/.422/.569/.991 after an utterly abysmal April (.209/.296/.302).
