Tonight’s another one of those disclaimer nights. The guy running the Gameday/milb thing for Binghamton was likely tripping on acid or something, so… yeah. And I’m not sure of the reliableness of any of the other games, either.

AA Eastern League: Binghamton 8/5/0, New Britain 1/2/2

Zack Wheeler had his strongest, longest and most dominant outing as a Met, going 8 strong innings, allowing just a run on 2 hits with 6 strikeouts and 10 groundouts for his 4th EL victory, lowering his ERA under 2 in the process. Offensively, Raul Reyes had the lone multi hit game. Reese Havens walked thrice (and thus, I use the word thrice in a MLR after 6 years, I win).

Domingo Tapia had a decent outing tonight, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits in 6 innings, while striking out 6 for his 4th win of the season. Tapia’s flat dominated the Sally League as a 20 year old, excluding that one outing where he got oblierated (1.1 ip, 8 h, 8 er), he’s posted a 4-1 record with a 2.66 era in 40.2 innings, with a WHIP of 1.00.
