AA Eastern League: Binghamton 2/4/1 @ Richmond 3/7/0 in 8 innings, Game 1

An Allan Dykstra 2 run homer was all the offense the BMets mustered in the opener of a twinight doubleheader, and it was not enough, despite a very good outing from Erik Goeddel, who gave up a run on 4 hits while striking out 6 in 5 innings. John Church blew the lead in the 6th, allowing the tying run, then Chase Huchingson gave up the game winner in the bottom of the 8th. Remember minor league doubleheaders are scheduled for 7 innings apiece.

A+ Florida State League: St. Lucie 5/9/0 vs Charlotte 4/11/1

Rainy Lara had a meh outing tonight, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits in 5 innings, but he struck out 7 along the way and picked up the win, his first in the FSL. With all the promotions and injury to Aderlin Rodriguez, the St. Lucie lineup is pretty lacking in prospecty people.
