AA Eastern League: Binghamton 5/10/0 @ Altoona 2/7/0

Jacob DeGrom had a third straight solid outing, this time giving up 2 runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, he took a ND. Jack Leathersich worked a scoreless 8th for the win, Jeff Walters pitched a perfect 9th for save number 15. There are times the BMets are functionally superior to the major league Mets… quite alot of times, honestly, given how good their bullpen is. Offensively, Cesar Puello, their best hitter, took an 0-fer, but in a novel concept foreign to the major league team, the rest of Puello’s team actually picked him up. Travis Taijeron’s 3 run homer in the 9th snapped a 2-2 tie and provided the BMets with their margin of victory.
