Cesar Puello doubled, was hit by a pitch, and intentionally walked today, he drove in a run and scored as well. Josh Rodriguez doubled twice and reached base 4 times (I like him, as I always have, as an alternative to Justin Turner). Travis Taijeron doubled home a run, Allan Dykstra doubled home a pair in back of Erik Goeddel, who was effective from the statline, but Jeff Paternostro, who was at the game, reported that his velocity was down in the high 80s. Jeff Walters notched his 26th save in 28 chances, and is now 2 away from tying the BMets single season franchise record of 28.
