AA Eastern League: Binghamton 1/4/1 vs Trenton 4/8/1 in 7 innings, Game 1

Erik Goeddel had a very poor outing last night in Game 1 of Binghamton’s doubleheader, giving up 4 runs (3 earned) on 6 hits and 4 walks in 4.2 innings to take his 4th loss of the season. I still like Goeddel as a reliever long term, remember, he was UCLA’s closer before the Mets drafted him. Adam Kolarek pitched the rest of the game, firing 2.1 scoreless innings. Offensively, Alonzo Harris doubled and scored a run. Cesar Puello singled, drove in a run, and walked.
