Tonight, he allowed a run on 4 hits with 5 strikeouts in 6 innings for his 4th EL victory of the season. Offensively, Juan Lagares had a triple, Reese Havens singled and walked.

Darin Gorski bounced back from a miserable outing his last time out (4 ip, 5 h, 4 er, 6/5 bb/k) with a very sharp, crisp outing tonight, giving up a run on 3 hits with 6 strikeouts for his 6th EL victory of the season. The K rate might not be as strong as it was in 2011, but so far, Gorski’s had himself a very solid season. Ryan Fraser, an underrated potential bullpen arm, notched his first EL save. Offensively, Juan Lagares had 2 hits, including a double. Dustin Martin hit a 3 run homer in the bottom of the 6th.
