AA Eastern League: Binghamton 4/10/0, Richmond 9/12/0

Greg Peavey is just not competitive at the moment in AA, his last 4 outings have been epic disasters, and tonight was more of the same, as he gave up 6 runs on 8 hits in 4.2 innings for his 6th loss of the season. Adrian Rosario gave up 2 runs in his inning and a third, continuing his nightmare run in Binghamton. Offensively, Juan Lagares and Eric Campbell had multi hit games. Lagares has been… floating virtually all season with a decent average, but no power whatsoever and a poor OPS.

Chase Huchingson bounced back from back to back horrific starts (9.2 ip, 16 h, 16/14 r/er, 4 hr, 3/11 bb/k) with a … halfway decent one, giving up 3 runs (2 earned) on 8 hits in 5 innings, he took a ND. Jack Leathersich, who has been getting absolutely LIT up lately (3 outings prior to tonight: 6 ip, 10 h, 8 er, hr, 4/9 bb/k), also had a bounceback outing, giving up a run on 4 hits with 5 strikeouts in 2.1 innings. TJ Rivera had the lone Mets multi hit game, he’s been hitting well lately, 11 for his last 24, though just 2 of the hits have been doubles, so the power he displayed in the SAL is not translating as of yet (granted, it’s just 50 ABs)
