He’s 10 for his last 26, including, as I said, his 3 hits tonight. Kevin Plawecki had 2 more hits including a double, he also walked and drove in a run. Dustin Lawley hit a 3 run homer.

Seth Lugo has had an absolutely eye popping first 2 starts in the SAL. A fairly pedestrian career to date (3.66 era as a 21 yo in KPT, then a 4.19 era as a 23 yo this year in BRK), but he’s come out ahnd put up a 0.69 over 13 innings with Savannah, with a 0/21 BB/K in 13 innings (whaaaaaaaat?). Check out Toby Hyde’s site (www.metsminorleagueblog.com) sometime in the next 12 hours for more on Lugo. Brandon Nimmo singled and was HBP in 4 trips, his average sits at .272 now. Eudy Pina doubled.
