Kirk Nieuwenhuis, Lucas Duda and Eric Campbell had big games as the 51s moved into a first place tie with a 8-1 stomping over the Zephyrs. Kirk homered, Duda doubled and walked twice, Campbell doubled twice, each drove home a pair. Travis d’Arnaud walked twice and scored a pair of runs before being PH for due to the score. DUE TO THE SCORE HE WAS REMOVED FROM THE GAME.

Robbie Shields walked off with a single tonight, as the Mets overcame deficits of 2-0 and 3-2. Dustin Lawley had a big game with 3 hits including his organization leading 25th HR and 89th RBI, he’s looking to become the first 100 RBI player in the system since Brett Harper in 2005 (102 RBI). Domingo Tapia started and was decent, giving up 2 runs (1 earned) on 3 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings, he also threw a wild pitch.
