AA Eastern League: Binghamton 3/5/0 vs Bowie 2/11/1 in 10 innings

Wilfredo Tovar was injured on a CS, and then 2 innings later, Cory Vaughn was hit in the helmet with a pitch and left the game, resulting in catcher Blake Forsythe playing right field, and center fielder Alonzo Harris moving to second base for the first time since last year. They held a 2-1 lead going into the top of the 9th, but Jeff Walters blew his 4th save in 39 chances, walking in the tying run on a 3-2, 2 out pitch (it looked like a strike on Gameday). The aforementioned Forsythe hit a walkoff homer to make a winner out of Chasen Bradford, who pitched a shaky scoreless top of the 10th.

Brandon Nimmo singled twice to raise his average to .277, the highest it’s been in at least 2 months as he works towards a .280/.800 ending season line, something that was unfathomable just a month ago (he probably won’t get there, but he’s sitting at .277/.399/.370/.769 right now)
